Sound

The Outer Lands original soundtrack and related audio layers are composed by Urban Misthios, credited throughout the experience as Original Soundtrack Composer. Territory ambience and cassette layers draw on the same mythic sound world. Respect the rights of composers when sharing recordings.

Artists and realms

Realm names, epithets, factions, and lore belong to the collective world of The Outer Lands and the artists who inhabit each territory. The map is a fiction. It is not a map of any real country or claim.

Technology

This experience is built with gratitude toward the following tools and communities:

• Next.js and React for structure, routing, and rendering
• TypeScript for safer composition
• Tailwind CSS for restrained styling
• Framer Motion for slow, cinematic motion
• Supabase for data the archive needs at rest
• Stripe for payment rails when the shelf is open
• Vercel for hosting and, in production, lightweight analytics

Project

Conceived as an interactive mythological fantasy universe for an alternative music collective. Design and implementation aim for atmosphere over novelty, archive over dashboard.
